I just want to say what a GREAT book she wrote; I lived with someone for a while who fell into the Amway cult and it was positively spooky how effective the brainwashing was, and she described that, forty some years later, to a T. I put “Little Bosses Everywhere” up with Kurt Andersen’s “Fantasyland” and “Evil Geniuses” (and Stoller’s book) as essential to understanding where we are in America today. Can’t praise it enough.
