Below you can find a YouTube post of the recording for Episode #47, How Gamer Lawyers Took On A Gaming Monopoly.
This week’s guests Will Bucher and Judson Crump handed a little known member of big tech a few losses, along with several thousand headaches. Twenty five years ago, Valve Software was creating some pretty cool and world changing FPS games. But Valve’s founders trained under the tutelage of monopolists Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, so in 2003 they created something with the opposite energy, a walled garden called Steam. Will and Judson are helping gamer clients claw back some freedom and funds. We go through details of past cases, and get some reporting on upcoming litigation strategies. If you’re a gamer, be sure to check out how you can get involved.
