Waking up every day, and knowing that the work you put into the day is going to result in a better life for you or your family. And, to get control over your life, requires a government that controls and curbs corporate abuse and consolidation of corporate power and delivers you the means to be powerful in your own political life. The free market, unregulated and unrestrained, doesn't actually give you the power that you need. It's a fair economy with a compassionate, thoughtful and aggressive regulator that gives you the power and control that you need. That's freedom.

Dropping in to ask if Dave and Matt have thought about interviewing Ryan Broderick (of Garbage Day). I just heard him on another podcast saying some very interesting things about using antimonopoly laws to help solve the disinformation problem on social media ... and I thought of this show (which I listen to every week and always appreciate).
