They are not representing big corporations against government overreach, they are representing big corporations in buying government cover for their illegal/immoral activities. While Trump may be focussed selfishly on retaliation against supporting the lawfare cases against him, these companies, are not good guys, nor working to restrain the government; they clearly are completely unconcerned about legal standards/ethical standards when their profits are at risk.
